- Before buying, you should create a list of the supplies needed and a budget. Once created, figure out what are the most important and fit within the cost of the budget
- Consider buying off brand products versus the name brand. These products are cheaper but still provide the quality that an office needs. If you switch to high volume products such as printers and copiers, you will save that much more
- Try to standardize purchases for items that are purchased more frequently for example pens, binders, filing products etc.
- You should consider using remanufactured laser and ink jet toner cartridges to help reduce those costs which in turn will help the environment.
